Es entsteht also keine Verschwendung.

FAIRE PRODUKTION – GEMEINSAM WACHSEN

THE PROBLEM

The surplus in the production of clothing is enormous. Just spinning yarn wastes 3 million tons of cotton, so we took the step and decided to find a way to minimize this waste. In our pursuit of sustainability, we are actively exploring alternative methods and technologies that not only reduce the excesses in clothing production but also contribute to a more environmentally responsible approach. By embracing cutting-edge solutions and fostering a mindset of resourcefulness, we aim to revolutionize the industry's practices, paving the way for a more sustainable and conscientious future. Through our efforts, we aspire to inspire positive change and set a precedent for responsible production in the fashion industry.

OUR SOLUTION

We are now proud to announce that 80% of our cotton fabrics are upcycled. This means that we actively contribute to reducing the demand for new raw materials and mitigating the environmental impact associated with traditional cotton production. Through our dedication to upcycling, we are not only minimizing waste but also extending the life cycle of existing materials. By repurposing and reimagining textiles, we embrace a circular approach to fashion, fostering a more responsible and eco-friendly industry.

THE LIFECYCLE - UPCYCLING

We have a close relationship with our supply chain to ensure that our products are manufactured in the most responsible way. We believe that maintaining strong connections with every phase of the production process is essential to ensuring the highest standards in sustainability and social responsibility. Our engagement with the supply chain goes beyond simple oversight; it's a collaborative effort aimed at promoting fair labor practices, ensuring safe working conditions, and minimizing our environmental impact. Working closely with our suppliers allows us to address challenges collectively, share best practices, and continuously improve our processes. We conduct regular assessments to monitor compliance with our ethical standards, placing a strong emphasis on transparency and accountability. This proactive approach enables us to identify areas for improvement, implement positive changes, and ensure that our products not only meet but exceed industry sustainability benchmarks.

LONGEVITY

We put a high value on the quality and high-quality workmanship of our garments. We want to make our garments our consumers' favorites so that they can be worn for as long as possible. With a view to greater sustainability, we therefore develop extra durable materials and invest in modern production facilities.  Because real sustainability is quality that lasts a lifetime.

DIGITAL PRINT

Digital printing stands out as a sustainable alternative to traditional screen printing methods, aligning with our commitment to eco-friendly practices. One key advantage is the precision it offers, ensuring that only the exact amount of ink necessary for your design is used during the printing process, minimizing any wastage. This not only enhances the efficiency of our production but also significantly reduces the environmental impact associated with excess ink disposal. Furthermore, digital textile printing presents a noteworthy change from the resource-intensive requirements of screen preparation, printing, and cleaning in traditional methods. Unlike screen printing, which often demands substantial amounts of water and electricity, digital printing operates with a considerably lower environmental footprint. By eliminating the need for extensive water usage in the preparation and cleaning phases, as well as reducing energy consumption during printing, we contribute to conserving valuable resources and promoting a more sustainable approach to textile production.

FAIR PRODUCTION - GROW TOGETHER

We work exclusively with certified production partners, independent family businesses that treat people with respect and minimize negative impacts on nature and the environment. We work with family businesses in Turkey and Pakistan. The "grow together" principle applies here. Our selection of family businesses aligns with our vision for a responsible and interconnected global supply chain. These partnerships not only contribute to the living of people within these communities but also reinforce our belief in the power of collaboration to drive positive change in the fashion industry.

PLASTIC-FREE PACKAGING

Our packaging is entirely plastic-free. Our garment bags and shipping labels are crafted from 100% biodegradable materials, designed to decompose within 18 months or within 3-6 months if composted. By deciding for biodegradable materials, we aim to contribute to a circular economy where packaging doesn't linger as waste but seamlessly integrates back into the environment. This conscientious choice reflects our commitment to leaving a positive imprint on the planet and encourages a shift towards more sustainable and environmentally friendly practices within the broader industry.
